Join your ACC colleagues and attorneys from Shawe Rosenthal at The Alexander Brown Restaurant at noon on September 17, to learn about the areas of vulnerability for employers in labor and employment law compliance. They will touch on (among others) recent cases/developments dealing with:
- Wage and Hour (lawsuits on the rise; collective and class actions)
- Compliance with leave laws
- Accommodations (touch on legalization of Marijuana--MCCR says thay are looking for a test case)
- Discrimination (Equal Pay seems to be the focus of the EEOC)
- Harrassment (uptick in harassment claims-especially internal complaints--post #metoo movement)

Parking: If you park in the garage at the Luminary at One Light Street (can be entered from Grant Street (looks like an alley) off of Baltimore or Redwood Street between Light and Calvert Streets), the hostess will validate your parking ticket and parking will be free.
